President Akarca received Prof. Dr. Natasha Gaber Damjanovska, President of North Macedonian Academy of Judges and Prosecutors and accompanying delegation of candidate judges and prosecutors in his Office.

During the visit, which was held within the scope of the training program on "Justice Administration, Human Trafficking and Refugee Law" continuing at the Justice Academy of Türkiye between 5-12 March, views were exchanged on the development of political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries, as well as on strengthening cooperation in the field of judiciary.

At the reception, Salih Murati, Honorary President of the Constitutional Court of North Macedonia, Mr. Bekir Şahin, Chief Public Prosecutor of the Court of Cassation, Mr. Muhittin Özdemir, President of the Justice Academy of Türkiye and Mr. Fevzi Yıldırım, Secretary General of the Court of Cassation were also present.

Mr. Mehmet Akarca, President of the Court of Cassation, received Ivan Geshev, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria, and the accompanying delegation who are paying an official visit to our country between January 23-26.

Prosecutor General Mr. Geshev was accompanied by Deputy Prosecutor General Mrs. Desisleva Pironeva.

At the meeting where views were exchanged on strengthening the cooperation in the field of law, Mr. Bekir Şahin, Chief Public Prosecutor of the Court of Cassation, Mr. Rıdvan Gündoğdu, Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor of the Court of Cassation and Mr. Fevzi Yıldırım, Secretary General of the Court of Cassation were also present.

Mr. Mehmet Akarca, President of the Court of Cassation met with Mr. Mirza-Ulugbek Abdusalomov, President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the accompanying delegation in his office. 

Stating that there are deep-rooted common ties between the two countries, the cooperation in law and other fields is getting stronger day by day Mr. Akarca said.

Mr. Bakhtiyar Mirbabaev, Member of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Mr. Alisher Agzamhodjaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Ankara were also present at the meeting. 

President of the Court of Cassation Mr. Mehmet Akarca received Ms. Albulena Haxhiu, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kosovo and the accompanying delegation in his office.

 At the visit, where views were exchanged on strengthening the cooperation between the countries in the field of law, Mr. Fevzi Yıldırım, Secretary General of the Court of Cassation, Mr. Blerim Sallahu, the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Ilir Dugolli, Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to Ankara and Dr. Yavuz Yılmaz, the Deputy Director General of Directorate General for Foreign Relations and European Union Affairs also took part.    

Mehmet Akarca, President of the Court of Cassation received Zambia Prosecutor General Fulata Lilian Shawa-Siyunyi and the accompanying delegation, who will pay a visit to our country between November 21-26 upon the invitation of the Chief Public Prosecutor of the Court of Cassation, Mr. Bekir Şahin. 

At the meeting where views were exchanged on enhancing the cooperation between the two countries in the field of law, the delegation were also attended by Mr. Bekir Şahin, Chief Public Prosecutor, Mr. Rıdvan Gündoğdu, Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor and Mr. Fevzi Yıldırım, Secretary General.
