
Within the scope of the "Strengthening the Institutional Capacity of the Court of Cassation" project co-financed by the European Union and the Council of Europe and carried out jointly by the Court of Cassation and the Council of Europe, the signing ceremony for the establishment of an artificial intelligence-based "Court of Cassation Case Law Center" was held at the Court of Cassation.
The Court of Cassation Case Law Center, which is planned to be open to the public as well as those practicing the legal profession such as lawyers, judges and public prosecutors, is expected to become operational in 2023.
Speaking at the ceremony, President of the Court of Cassation Mehmet Akarca stated that the system, which will work with artificial intelligence, will facilitate the dissemination of case law accurately and effectively, and will contribute to the fulfillment of the task of ensuring the unity of case law of the Court of Cassation.
The contract for the establishment of the Court of Cassation Case Law Center was signed by Dr. Mustafa Saldırım, Deputy Secretary General on behalf of the Court of Cassation and was signed by Cristian Urse, Head of Ankara Program Office on behalf of the Council of Europe.
