Zeki AKAR

He was born in Tokat-Niksar on June 01, 1944.
Having graduated from Sivas "4 Eylül" High school, he studied Law in Ankara University. Then he comleted his military service as a reserve officer in Isparta.Having  begun his career as a judge nominee in Tokat, he  served as a assistant judge in Tunceli-Ovacık,as a judge in Koyulhisar, Erdemli, Gerede,as a Justice Inspector, Justice Chief Inspector, as a member of Commercial Court of Ankara and as a judge in Ankara respectively.

He was elected to be  a member of the High Court on may 26, 1997. During his tenure, he was elected as a Deputy First President of  the High Supreme Court by the General Board of the High Supreme Court on February 13, 2006 and he has been in the position since then. He is married and he has two children
